Speech and Drama
Plays, poetry, object theatre, improvisation and character development, with regular chances to perform in plays and poetry recitals.

Clay, drawing, paint and colour, fabric and fibre, and construction, building the skills and techniques for expression, inventiveness and individuality alongside the performing classes.

- Students will get the opportunity to perform in plays and poetry recitals throughout the year enhancing self-expression and self-esteem in a fun and enjoyable setting.
- Speech, Drama and Communication Classes enable students to develop confidence in public speaking and presentation skills by learning about the six elements of vocal variety (pitch, pace, pause, power, inflection and tone) as well as clear diction and voice projection.
- Drama games give students the chance to co-operate with others in a relaxed atmosphere through imaginative play enabling students to make new friends in the process.
- Improvisation and role play empowers students to experiment with movement and engage in creative, critical, imaginative and reflective thinking.

Drama, Theatre & Acting for Adults
This 8-week course introduces adults to the foundations of acting through theatre games, improvisation, scene study, character development, voice work, and poetry performance. The class blends dramatic acting techniques with literary exploration and ensemble collaboration in an encouraging and relaxing setting. No previous experience in acting is required but enjoying yourself, getting to know new people and having fun is a must!
